Many of the delicious cakes, pastries, muffins, strudels and cupcakes that consumers love as a treat are packaged in Clamshell containers and trays, most of them have lids or vented lids to maintain freshness. The labeled look of these clamshells is crucial and specific. For example, a glazed or iced- cake needs to be protected BUT, by the same token… flipping it upside down to see the ingredients would ruin the icing against the dome or lid. 
Baked Goods Labeling Equipment
NITA’s Clamshell labeler called the Shellshock, will apply a longer label in a tamper evident “C-shaped band” formed to the top, front and bottom panels in one single application. Designed any way you want. The containers can be round, oval, square, they can have lids, domes or covers and they can any size from 2inches wide to 16 inches wide. The container height can be up to 16inches high as well. Moreover by adding the servo carrousel extension, Nita can provide a completely labeled clamshell wrap around application where both ends will meet as an under tuck at 2 inches from the bottom panel.
