Many of the meats, sausages and poultry and derived products that are sold to consumers are packaged in foam trays, some with domes, some with plastic wraps to protect and seal in freshness.

The NITA Shellshock, Lance and Joust labeling machines are specifically geared to handle these types of packages. The label can be applied strictly on the top using the Lance. A Shellshock labeler will offer a top label application as well as tamper evident “C-shaped band” labeled on the top, front and bottom panels in one single pass-through. Need more versatility, the Nita JOUST applies a label on the top and bottom of any tray, clamshell, domed container and more.
