Shampoo Bottle Labeling
Shampoo bottles have changed quite a bit from their humble beginnings. Most shampoo and conditioner bottles are either round or oval in shape, some have even flipped upside down to specifically show the difference between the shampoo and the conditioner packaging. One thing is sure, the wilder the packaging, the more attractive it seems to be for the consumer. As graphic designers are now becoming extremely creative with the packaging shapes, the sizes seem to shrink from year to year but the labels get more attractive each year.
The label shapes and textures vary tremendously to accommodate the bottles. The NITA’s inline label application machines use the bottle travel synchronization to ensure that no matter what the label shape is, the positioning will always be “dead on” accurate. Front and back label applications (also known as side-to-side, check out our Side Labeling machine) are best when synchronization AND bottle positions are conditions with skew rectification devices especially when the bottle shapes are oval.
